STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS
MINIMUM ORDER
$35 minimum order unless otherwise stated. Order in multiples of standard box or carton, where applicable.
PRICES
Prices shown on quotations or on acknowledgements are valid as of the date of the quotation or acknowledgement. However, HST Materials, Inc. reserves the right to change prices without notice.
Freight is billed at HST's cost in effect on the date the order is shipped.
FREIGHT POLICY
All shipments are FOB HST Materials, Wood Dale, IL
CUSTOMER PICK-UP
No charge if customer picks-up at HST dock. Twenty-four (24) hour advance notice of pick-up at HST is required.
PAYMENT TERMS
Prepayment first order. Net 30 days upon approved credit.
PPAPS
PPAP (Pre-Production Approval Process) reports will be supplied upon request. A written request must be made at the time the order is placed. Minimum order requirements may apply.
Certificate of compliance is standard on all orders shipped by HST Materials.
SPECIFICATIONS
Products furnished shall be within HST's specifications effective on the date of shipment or as specified by Customer and agreed to by HST in writing.
CANCELLATIONS
Cancellations are only permitted with written authorization by HST Materials. A cancellation fee may apply and customer will be notified of fee prior to the cancellation being processed.
Special order items, obsolete/discontinued items, special put-ups and products already identified as non-returnable or non-cancelable cannot be returned or cancelled for any reason except if deemed defective (see REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE GOODS).
RETURNS
Standard items purchased within 60 days of order with supporting documentation (i.e. invoice) may be honored for return.
All returns require written authorization by HST. Goods must be received within 10 days after authorization given.
Outbound and return freight will be paid by customer.
Returns may be subject to a restocking charge.
Returns resulting from HST's error will not be subject to restocking and return shipment fees.
REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE GOODS
If product is claimed to be defective, a small sampling of material must be sent to HST Materials for evaluation. Upon examination, if HST decides the material is defective, an authorization for return of material will be given for replacement or credit.
Claims of defective material must be made within 30 days of delivery on all standard or specialty items. Samples of defective materials must be received within 10 business days of report of product defect.
TITLE OF PRODUCTION MATERIALS
Irrespective of who has paid for same, all tools, molds, dies or fixtures referred to in any quotations or order shall become and remain the property of HST Materials, Inc.
HST cannot be held accountable for typographical errors within this web site.
